About the role
- Head Housekeeper
- 38hrs per week (including working every other weekend)
- £14.31ph
Duties
- To supervise, motivate and control domestic and laundry staff to achieve compliance with the standards of the home
- Plan duty roster and annual leave to ensure a continuous and adequate domestic and laundry service
- Ordering and control of consumption and handling of all chemicals and products to ensure budgets are attained
- To minimise the risk of accidents and waste by effective training and supervision
- To complete all necessary documentation and administration to ensure smooth running of the department
- To check all equipment/machinery to ensure that it is in safe working order and train all appropriate personnel in its correct use
